2010 Rocked as Mig and Rizzo were part of over 12#1 records on Billboard Dance and 20 in the Top 50 not to mention Rizzo’s Grammy Nom for the Funk Generation remix of Sergio Mendes.
2011 is already starting off on a Hi-Note and hopefully will gain a few more octaves as Mig and Rizzo once again top the charts as part of this week’s #1 and #2 records with #1 Chris Willis “Louder” (Mig & Rizzo Mix) and #2 Erika Jayne “One Hot Pleasure” (Funk Generation Remix).
On DECK…Jacqueline Madden, Star of VH1’s season 1 “You’re Cut Off” is set for a worldwide release of ”Falling”, which was produced and co-written by Mig & Rizzo. Co-writers include Dance Diva Jenna Drey and Maria Christensen of J. Lo’s “Waiting For Tonight”. This Insane!! promo package is packed with mixes by some of the Biggest and Best remixers (UK’s Almighty, Funk Generation, Mr. Mig, Mike Cruz,) as well as some up n coming Diamonds in the rough (T. Beatz and Andrew Wysong).

Global Groove’s Mike Rizzo Nominated for Grammy!
New York- (December 6, 2010) On Wednesday December 1, 2010, the Recording Academy nominated DJ/Producer Mike Rizzo for Best Remixed Recording for the track “Orpheus” (Quiet Carnival) (Funk Generation Mix), remixer (Sergio Mendes). This is Mike Rizzo’s first Grammy nomination. “I can’t tell you how excited and blessed I’m feeling right now. I couldn’t have done this without the support of my wife Michelle and family, the Funk Generation team, Josh Harris and Mr.Mig and of course my fans” says Rizzo of his nomination. “I am honored and grateful that the Grammy Committee noticed and acknowledged our hard work.”
Mike Rizzo has been hypnotizing us with his sounds and remixes for the last 20 years and has taken his talents internationally, including an Asia tour which included spinning in Beijing and Singapore. Rizzo has also had 30 Billboard #1 remixes, including Tamia’s “Stranger In My House” which went on to be WKTU’s #1 song that year. Aside from lending his talents as writer/producer and remixer, Rizzo also spreads his sounds through nationally broadcast mixed shows, including the Hollywood Hamilton Remix Top 30 (USRN) and Music Choice TV.
Some of Mike Rizzo’s current projects include, Beyonce ft Lady Gaga “Video Phone, “Raise Your Glass”, Pink, Alyssa Rubino’s first single, “Keep on Dancing” and also working with Latin star, Mayra Veronica.
With the dedication, determination and work ethic that Mike Rizzo has demonstrated there seems to be no limit to his success. The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“You’re Cut Off”
AudioMaxx Studios and Mig & Rizzo are proud to announce their musical partnership with Reality TV Star, Jacqueline Madden. Jackie was one of the stars of last season’s “You’re Cut Off” on VH1.
Her first single “Falling” was co-written by Mig & Rizzo and Jenna Drey and Maria Christensen who wrote J. Lo’s “Waiting For Tonight”.
The single is scheduled for a Q1 2011 release and will have remixes from some of the biggest names in the biz. Stay Tuned…Jackie Madden is a true talent and a force to be reckoned with…

This week at AudioMaxx Studios has been exciting to say the least!
NBC & THE SING OFF:
First, this past friday we filmed a segment of an upcoming episode of the NBC primetime show “Sing Off’ which is hosted by Nick Lachey.
Ironically, It was our very own Cherry Hill area’s High School West’s harmony group “Men Of Note” led by Mrs. Christine Bass who will be appearing as they fight for the winning spot on the show.

Today we had the pleasure of recording a radio commercial starring the Philadelphia Phillies’ own catcher, Carlos Ruiz. The commercial is for Cintron Liquid Energy drink.

DJ King Assassin in the House!
This past week DJ King Assassin stopped by on the last leg of his East Coast trip. He spent the last month in the studio with Wyclef working on new material. We had a blast filming Assassin in the studio with Rob Schwartz of Who?Mag and AudioMaxx’s Head Producer/Engineer Mr. Mig.
